Sun Dry.. Wordless Wednesday

I bought some second hand clothes for Nathan from a lady online. After washing them all, I hung them out on the line to dry. I think it's so precious to see all of the tiny blue sleepers hanging on the line.

My baby boy isn't born yet but already has a full closet.

Going Bananas

I made this simple little banana card for the FCCB's weekly challenge. This week's challenge was fruit salad.
It's my first time making a card for any type of challenge, and I had fun searching through my cartridges for a cute fruit :)

Nursery Wall Art

I made this for baby Nathan's nursery using my Cricut and vinyl. It is from the Word Collage Cartridge. 
My first time working with the vinyl and I think it turned out pretty good. The most challenging part was transferring the letters onto the transfer paper from the mat. I had a few stubborn letters that didn't want to come off. 
I plan on framing photos of him and putting them around it after he is born. 

Marigolds

My Cricut came today !! Yeeeaahh!

I made my first card with it. I used the Freshly Picked cartridge, using the Knome cut, and marigolds. It's a birthday card for my Mother In Law.

Cleaning My Craftroom

My sweet hubby decided that I should have a Cricut Expression 2. He ordered it online and it is due to be shipped any day now. I'm thrilled! I've had all sorts of crafty ideas swirling around in my head and can't wait for it to arrive. 

Then it dawned on me, my craft room looks like a hurricane went through it. I have been focused on getting things organized in the nursery, meanwhile my craft room became a catch all for everything else. I've been using it to package my hubby's care packages mainly. There were also crochet works in progress and yarn strung all about. The room has also seconded as a guest room so blankets, pillows and such where left in there from our recent visitors.

I can't believe that I let it get so out of control. Thankfully I've had plenty of time on my hands the last few days. I've gotten it cleaned out, organized and ready for my Cricut!!
